Travelling to Guideacres by road

Guideacres is only a few miles from the city of Hull, which is easily reached by road. From the Midlands and the south of England (including London) the M1 motorway runs norhwards to link in to the M18 and the M62, or as an alternative the A15, a little further east - not a motorway but a dual carriageway for most of its length - leads directly to the Humber Bridge which itself is very near the camp site.
From the North of England and Scotland there are two alternative routes, the westerly route down the M6 and the easterly alternative down the A1 and the A1(M), both of which link in to the trans-Pennine M62 motorway which runs from the west coast (Liverpool and Manchester) to Hull.
All these major routes are on good-quality roads and travel is generally fast and trouble free; all these routes are served by buses running between the major cities and Hull.

If you decide to travel by road, contact us and we will help you decide which is the best route for you and also give detailed directions for the last leg of your journey to Guideacres.
